WHAT WE DO


The mission of the volunteer run NWYSA program is to provide an enjoyable soccer experience for children ages 2-15 regardless of experience or ability. The game of soccer is taught with an emphasis on development of individual skills, team building, and fair play.

* Regular Signup:  March 16th - April 5th
* Late Signup Under 2 Through Under 9 Player [Add $10]: April 6th - April 19th
* Late Signup Under 10 Through Under 15 Player [Add $15]: April 6th - April 19th
* April 20th - May 10th: Contact The NWYSA Before Signing-Up
* Date Form And Fee Are Both Sent, Determines If The Signup Is Early, Regular Or Late

* Sessions And Games Begin: May 9th
* Picture Day [U4-U6 Divisions & Make-Ups]: May 16th
* Picture Day [U9-U12-U15 Divisions & Make-Ups]: May 30th
* Sessions And Games End: June 13th
* Team Gear Issue Return: June 17th

COVID-19 ACTION PLAN


With regard to the COVID-19 virus situation the NWYSA program will continue to act upon local, state and national recommendations throughout the upcoming spring season and make the safety of NWYSA program members a priority.  The season start has been pushed out to the CDC recommended date.

We wish to communicate to NWYSA program members, referees, guests and visiting program members about the best practices to follow to help protect everyone during the upcoming spring season.

1] Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an
alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content which will be available in the port-a-jons.
2] Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
3] Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
4] All adults and children should stay home when sick.
5] Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
6] Individuals with chronic health issues and/or experiencing severe symptoms should be evaluated by a Doctor.
7] Health officials do not recommend the use of face masks for general prevention.
8] Get plenty of sleep which helps to boast immune system.

A] Team and family members feeling ill should not attend NWYSA activities.
B] No handshakes, high fives, fist pumps, chest bumps during NWYSA activities.
C] Drinks should not be shared.
D] If you bring food/drinks to NWYSA activities ensure you bring enough for entire team so nothing is shared.
E] All team members are advised to carry and use their own hand sanitizer.
F] Coaches will be provided disinfecting materials for their team gear issue.
G] Between Game Times May Be Increased To Allow More Time For One Group To Leave Before Next Group Arrives.
